The opening of the Music Alley Market, a free market space to support the Louisville art community. This market is free for vendors to set up and sell art, hand-made and home-made goods, locally grown produce, or small business services or products every First Friday from 10 am until 10 pm, weather permitting.  The market can be found on Music Alley at 613 South 4th Street, next to Mercury Ballroom.

Montage Lives!  at 1619 Flux

1619 Flux: Art + Activism, is proud to present our newest exhibition, “Montage Lives! Our Artistic Past Informs The Future”. Featuring works of art from members of the historical artist collective “Montage”.

In the 1970’s sculptors Ed Hamilton, William M. Duffy and artist Gloucester Caliman Coxe grouped with fellow African-American artists to form Montage, an artists collective that worked with young artists in an effort to show them how to improve and exhibit their work.
